Crowdfunding for Chemical Ecology textbook
Together with a group of 47 international experts, NOSE member Astrid Groot and others are developing an open-access, graduate level (MSc, early PhD) Chemical Ecology textbook to excite scientists new to the field. This link shows the content and more information. As you can see, the contencovers a broad range of chemical communications in nature, ranging from microbe-microbe interactions to chemical communication in insect, humans and other vertebrates, as well as a section on core analytical methods in chemical ecology.
To reach the goal for a high-quality open access book edited by Wageningen Academic Publishers that will be available online, we have developed a crowdfunding in GoFundMe. We already have partial funding from the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology and private funds. Thank you in advance for your financial support and spreading this email further.
Editors: Astrid T. Groot, Remington X. Poulin, Laura V. Florez, and Nicole van Dam

Even a small donation could help us reach our fundraising goal. And if you can’t make a donation, it would be great if you could share the fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thanks for taking a look!
